Maintain a healthy lifestyle at home
Due to the very dangerous spread of the coronavirus, the government urges all Indonesian citizens to stay at home when there are no very important needs like buying food, medicine, etc. Therefore, all work and educational matters should be done online from their respective homes as much as possible.
The appeal is to minimize/stop the spread of the coronavirus, which can be described as a very rapid spread.
When we're at home, we shouldn't just be idle and lazy. We also need to maintain a healthy lifestyle so that the body is in prime condition and protected from other diseases. Here are some tips for a healthy lifestyle at home:
1. Eat with a balanced diet and drink 8 glasses of water a day
The most important step is a balanced diet. Avoid junk food or anything similar which may not be good for your health When we live at home in these conditions, our activities are also very limited. To avoid excessive amounts as there is a risk of fat/cholesterol, sugar, etc., building up in the body.
2. Exercise and adequate rest
Of course, in order to maintain body condition, you also need to exercise. Although the current state requires us to stay at home, there are many sports that can be practiced at home, such as push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, leg raises, squats, lifting weights, and so on. Also, balance with adequate rest for at least 7 hours a day.
3. Avoid excessive use of equipment
Fair free time is quite boring at times and definitely requires entertainment. Most people spend their free time using gadgets to find great entertainment by watching movies, playing social media, and reading the news. This can be done with a note not to forget about time as it is very dangerous for eye health. If you are forced to stand in front of the device due to tasks, etc., use radiation protection glasses to reduce the negative effects of screen radiation from the device. If there is free time it is better to use it for gathering and chatting with a family
4. Keep it clean
Maintaining cleanliness is also very important. Regularly clean the home environment to prevent dust from building up and causing breathing problems. Not only do we clean the environment, but we also need to be cleaned regularly every day. Just because you're not traveling/leaving the house doesn't be an excuse for not taking a shower!
5. Don't smoke
As we know, smoking is very harmful to health, especially for the lungs. When we are infected with the coronavirus, the virus also attacks the lungs and is said to cause serious injuries to those who have recovered. You have the risk of smoking and the risk of the coronavirus don't you? For those who are already addicted, at least try to reduce it and make sure that smoking is kept away from other family members.
6. Pray
The final tip is to keep praying according to your own beliefs. Pray for yourself and for all people that they will always be protected and healthy and that conditions on our beloved earth will continue to improve.
If you are at home in this condition, do you have any other tips? Don't hesitate to share it!
A little knowledge we share is likely to mean a lot to others.
Many thanks.
